Claire Perry MP showed her support for local small businesses in and around Woodborough Garden Centre ahead of Small Business Saturday on Saturday 3 December. The campaign which is now in its fourth year, highlights small business success stories and encourages people to shop in local, small, independent businesses and use local services instead of national brands.
Many businesses across the area are involved, and Visit Pewsey Vale and Local Uncovered arranged a Prize Draw to drive footfall and boost awareness of local businesses. Claire will be drawing the prize winners later this week.
Commenting, Claire said:
“Small businesses are such a vital and vibrant part of Britain with a record 5.4 million small businesses in the UK. We have so many fantastic local small businesses and I always make a big effort to support as many local companies as I can, especially in the run up to Christmas.
Huge thanks go to Visit Pewsey Vale and Local Uncovered for all their hard work to promote business and tourism across the area.”
