Claire Perry is delighted by the news that the planning application for the new Devizes Urgent Care Centre should be submitted by the end of November. This represents the next step in the journey to improve local healthcare provision, and follows years of campaigning by Claire, and many other local people to repair the damage done by the closure of all the Minor Injuries Units in the Constituency.
Commenting on the news, Claire Perry said:
“After the years of campaigning I am thrilled that the planning application for the Urgent Care Centre is to be submitted by the end of November. Huge thanks go to everyone who has worked so hard to get to this stage - at last the people of Devizes and surrounding villages are a step closer to getting the healthcare services they need, and I know we are all determined to make this a reality.”
